Irresistible Bargains With The Daiso Medium Brush Pens

One of the things I love about Japan the most is that almost wherever you go, you can expect to find brush pens! I think this is because it's still common practice for them to use calligraphy in signing greeting cards. Even in convenience stores, they have a really small selection of brush pens! I also got to experience shopping at a legit DAISO store which is famous for selling most of their stuff at 100yen which is approximately 40php each. So cheap! Their Medium Brush Pens are no exception which is why my mom pointed me towards them. She knows her hoarder son so well LOL

Beautiful Experiences with ZIG Kurecolor Fine & Brush for MANGA Flesh & Neutral Set

My obsession with brush markers is still clearly alive and kicking. One of my most recent acquisitions is the beautiful Kurecolor Fine & Brush for MANGA in the Flesh and Neutral Tones set. I've become an official convert ever since I tried using the Letraset Tria Markers and instantly fell in love with the level of sophistication brush markers can give your work. Even though I've already tried the amazing Copic Sketch Markers, I still wanted to find more affordable alternatives and I really think I may have found it!

Japan 2015: Art Supplies Shopping In Japan + Art Haul

Being the country that invented Manga, Japan is also the best place to shop for art supplies! This has definitely been on my list of things to do ever since I set foot in this country and it's something I've been looking forward to doing forever! Almost everyone I know recommends Tokyu Hands, mainly because it's complete and they have branches scattered all across Japan. I got the chance to visit their smaller branch in Osaka and a major store in Shibuya which you can see in the photo above. With the limited time given to me, I was only able to visit Tokyu Hands, however there are a lot of other art stores that Tokyo has to offer, but for now, here's my guide to shopping at Tokyu Hands + the art supplies I got in Japan!

The Scroll & Brush by ZIG's Memory System collection is definitely one of the more popular pens of the bunch, which is why I was so happy when it became available in most National Bookstores for the same price as my favorite art store - Craft Carrot! I got my very first one last year during an art fair in UP Town Center and have been a fan since. Read on to see how it performs!
