Beyond Visual Inspiration: Formal Dress Australia

One of my favorite pastimes would definitely have to be drawing and a lot of those are actually conceptual fashion sketches. I'm not really sure why I do this even though I'm obviously not going to wear them, but it's definitely an amazing feeling to be able to put my random visualizations on paper and see them come to life! Of course, a lot of these ideas are usually inspired from someone, something, or somewhere, and one of those sources of inspiration is Formal Dresses Australia! It's actually not just a source of inspiration but also an amazing source of formal dresses of different unique designs and, not to mention, great prices! Read on to see what I mean as well as the inspiration for the illustrations you see here! :)

If you're going to need some quick info on Formal Dress Australia, they are, of course, an online business based all the way in the land down under, Australia! Believe me when I say that their dresses are quite exquisite and they give me so many ideas and inspirations, but outside of a designer's perspective, Formal Dress Australia's first and foremost mission is to provide all the beautiful ladies out there amazing dresses that are so well-made but definitely do not cost as much as most retailers that you know!

Formal Dress Australia prides themselves on being able to provide the most elegant gowns in hundreds of different designs as well as sizes available so they're sure to cater to all body types; giving every single woman out there the perfect dress to make them feel like goddesses, princesses, or whatever they like! There's sure to be a great dress waiting for each and every one!

If I'm still not able to convince you, you can go on ahead and visit their site to see how they operate! I think the best thing about shopping at Formal Dresses Australia is that you get to save so much because by purchasing your dresses here, you skip the middleman, also known as the retailers, and you get your dresses straight from the source! Instead of buying from the original designers of the dress and the retail shop you're buying it from, the price is cut down as low as half the retailer would've sold the dress for and that's a pretty amazing deal, yeah? :)

For the illustrations you saw at the start of this post, I was actually really inspired by their Black Formal Dresses. As a lot of you may have noticed, black is huge this year and it isn't just a classic color anymore, it also has the ability to make a big statement with its boldness! I'm personally a fan of the all-black trend, and if you share my love for the color as well, then you should definitely check out Formal Dress Australia's Black Formal Dresses catalogue!

Amazing prices for amazing dresses - what's not to love? You can visit Formal Dresses Australia at their official website: FormalDressAustralia.com
And follow them on Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/formaldressaustralia

  1. ah yes, i like the idea of dealing directly with the source, although with formal dresses, I find it more practical to have to made than to get it RTW because of the fitting part.

  5. Your gown designs are very good to look at. You should pursue this! I just do not know if they are practical to make, I guess that is the other, more practical side of fashion design.

    1. I think your fashion drawings are very professional looking judging on the photograph. Do you also draw men's fashion for your own OOTDs?

  6. You have a gift, Jason. Are you planning to get into fashion design or are you already in that field? I checked out their site and it is a good place to get some inspiration for formal wear. I just wonder if it would be easy for me to find a piece there ( Asian-size, gasp ... ) Lol.

  14. I have a strong feeling you'd pursue more with the fashion designing than architecture. Hehe. Besides, I've had classmates in SoFA who came from architecture courses but shifted to fashion designing. :)

  17. I love black too! Black pants, black dresses, black mini skirts - my stables. I agree that black don't have to be the boring classic choice - from the cut, to the material, a lot can be done to modernise and make black special.
