Hot-Star Large Fried Chicken
Bluebay Walk is definitely a place to watch out for. It's near, it's commute-friendly, and it attracts consumers of all ages! Since it's still particularly new, there are only quite a few places to visit. I come here to check out Flying Dutchman's store because it holds some of the nicest boat shoes that are locally made and are absolutely awesome! I've yet to choose one but I hope I can drop by again soon!
When I found out that Hot-Star was going to open its very first flagship in the country I was absolutely stoked! And when I read it was opening in Bluebay Walk, I couldn't contain my excitement. You see, Hot-Star is absolutely famous for its humungous fried chicken fillet or Ji Pai (雞排) in Mandarin! When I was still studying in Taiwan, I'd always have it for dinner whenever my friends and I would go out in the city on our free days. It was large enough that someone with my big appetite could get really really full with just the fillet itself and nothing else!

Houndstooth
I’m so happy the week’s over! Can’t believe it was so crazy that I couldn’t blog AT ALL. Other than the fact that my final exams as a high school student are closely coming to an end, our teachers are throwing projects and contests left and right. It’s never been this hectic! (And I can only imagine what it’ll be like in college!) Anyways, let’s get on to the look!

Shirt from Taiwan, Pants from Giordano, Shoes from Converse, Bracelet from Folded and Hung, Silver Bracelet is a gift.
Hello again, Black and White! If you’ve noticed, I’ve been trying my very best to master this style. Though it’s pretty basic, I constantly find myself at a loss for thoughts because I’ve never really done it much, aaaaand I don’t have a lot of black or white clothes. Haha!

Personally, I think the superstar of this outfit is my top. I find it a bit strange that I’ve only got to wear it for my blog now, since I bought it almost 2 years ago during my study tour in Taiwan. Other than being one of the most awesome shirts I have, it bears much sentimental value because my group of friends there made it sort of our “official” group shirt. Long story short, it’s a pretty complicated thing to explain, but this shirt is more than just a pretty top! LOL (BTW I love that it’s in this really lovely teeny tiny houndstooth pattern!)

Simple arm party for me today, this bracelet from F&H was perfect with my silver bracelet because of the matching metals! Can’t thank my friends enough for including this in my birthday gift bag!

I find hooded shirts endearing, I just do. There’s something so cute and youthful about it, don’t you agree? And I love the Asian vibe a lot! (Or as I like to call it, “KPOP” because it pretty much sums up Korean superstars’ awesome sense of style.)

Leave it to my black Chucks to complete a black and white look! Haha! One of these days, I swear I’m going to invest in black sneakers/boots. Pahingahin naman si Chuck Taylors! Hahahaha!

So what do you think about this black and white look?

Colors & Rain
Because of the awful weather, there have been too many things happening. School has actually been extended and I have literally no other choice than to cancel my upcoming flight to Taiwan. It really sucks when you've been looking forward to something for so long and not have it happen *just* a few days before and I've since then resigned myself to thinking that there are better plans for me.
Before I bum you guys out, here's an outfit post where I'm actually wearing layers again! Literally the only good thing that ever came from the storm. And let's not forget all the colors happening in this outfit as well! That's two things my blog has been missing. :)

Hong Kong July 2015: Hipster Spots & Mastering Causeway Bay
A few weeks back, my parents and I went on a spontaneous trip to Hong Kong and I was honestly so ecstatic especially after my trip to Taiwan got cancelled at the very last minute. I took this chance to do every single thing I had planned for my friends and I in Taiwan and poured it all in these brief three days: food, shopping, and art! Read on to see all the new discoveries! :)

Look: Blues, Khaki, And The Highlands
I was so excited when I found out my family was going to Tagaytay for Independence Day, and on a whim, I decided to finally try the "blue-shirt-and-khaki" combination I've been reading so much about. And I have to say, the results were really pleasing. The shades and tones were so easy on the eyes, not to mention, summery which is just perfect to wear almost everyday of the year in the Philippines. I still find it a bit strange that I'm the one on those photos because I've never really attempted anything like this before, but regardless, I had a LOT of fun shooting this with my sister, as well as putting together the outfit.
So here's what I was wearing: Boat Shoes from COUPEAU VALENTINO (TAIWAN), Chinos from ONESIMUS, Light Blue Shirt from H&M (XIAMEN), Satchel from PLATINUM (THAILAND), Cardigan from FOREVER 21, Silver Bracelet is a gift.

Redux
The year’s about to end in less than a month! Can you believe it? I certainly can’t! It seems like only yesterday that I started my senior year at high school and now I’m only five months away from starting college! Anyways, I’ll be saving my dramatic words for my next post. LOL
Today’s outfit post came in the form of a reinvention! I’ve never ever thought that one could actually repeat an entire outfit and completely alter it just by removing one piece from it, and replacing it with another! So let’s get on to it, shall we?

Top from H&M, Watch from Caite (Xiamen), Pants from Onesimus, Shoes from Coupeau Valentino (Taiwan), Belt from Penshoppe, Manvelope from Salvatore Mann (SM Department Store).
If you’ve been following my blog from the start, then you might recognize this entire outfit in my very first outfit post! (It’s still all the way back in my old Wordpress site!) I pretty much had this idea on the fly, and it bizarrely came to me far too naturally. It was like I already knew what I was going to do the minute I thought of reinventing it. Haha!
I knew that this time, I wanted to polish it, refine it, so the answer to that? Tuck my shirt in for a more sophisticated vibe, and of course, to show off my lovely multi-neutral belt from Penshoppe!

Simple arm party of brown, white, and blue to add a summery vibe to my light outfit. Though I wanted to look sophisticated, I wanted to make sure to keep it casual and relatable.

What’s a dapper outfit without this awesome Manvelope from Salvatore Mann? Still can’t get over how its simplicity actually makes it so amazing!

I actually wore this to a wedding reception of a distant relative of mine. It was actually one of the reasons why I wanted to go for a lighter touch, especially since there’s so many Chinese superstitions to follow when it comes to events like these!
Who says you can’t repeat outfits? With a little change here and there, it’ll be good as new! Never be afraid to experiment! Happy Sunday!

Behind The Lines

Shirt from Uniqlo, Jeans from Bossini (Xiamen), Shoes from Coupeau Valentino (Taiwan), Sunglasses from H&M (Xiamen), Tribal Bracelet from 168, Satchel from The Platinum (Thailand).
What a refreshing change taking an outfit shoot OUTSIDE! The photos here exude a happier and sunnier vibe to it which is just perfect for the look! Anyways, this is what I wore on my family outlet shopping trip to Sta. Rosa during National Heroes’ Day.
For those of you who don’t know, Sta. Rosa, Laguna is an amazing place to go bargain hunting for the pricier brands that one usually kind afford buying too much of. From ALDO to Banana Republic, Sta. Rosa has it all! But of course, you won’t find them all in one place! Keeping a sharp eye is always a must! And if some of you are worried that they may be fake because of the cheap price, don’t be; these products are all 100% original! If you want to learn more about them and I factory outlets I know about, check out my previous post!

This is me attempting to look cool and failing miserably so I just managed a smile that kind of says, “At least I tried?” LOL

I must admit, this is probably one of the simplest ensembles I’ve put together. But to my surprise it doesn’t seem to lack in any aspect. I really love how my satchel kind of gave the outfit a mature vintage twist, because the main outfit is very modern and kind of common. So the satchel really sets it apart from most!

And that’s me hoping I’ve managed to improve my “guy-wearing-sunglasses swag” pose, and still failing. LOL

If there’s anything I remember about this look, it’d have to be how shy and nervous I was taking look shoots at a mall! So many people were passing by and I was thinking, “Gosh, I really don’t want to look like some poser! I’m doing this for my blog!”
So yeah, I was basically panicking inside my head, thinking how silly I must look. LOL! Here’s hoping I get used to it, because I’m pretty sure there’ll be a million more to come!
What do you think? Comment below to let me know! (It rhymed! Ignore me.)
