Traversing Boundaries

Sharing sort of an old outfit of mine. This is what I wore when I attended this year's Architectural Symposium hosted by Archinet which is one of the organizations in my college. We were advised to go for corporate or smart casual coordinates since it was a big event. Got to see (And take pictures and autographs LOL) from both of the speakers who flew in all the from different parts of the world, Ted Givens and Yasha Grobman! That's two new heroes to add to my list. Haha! Read on to see more details of the outfit!

Went for my usual dark neutrals since they've never *ever* failed me. I've said this time and again but this blazer from Uniqlo is EVERYTHING. #HolyGrail

I would like to think that this is the kind of style that I'd sport constantly as a professional. Wearing a blazer over a t-shirt just makes you look ten times more sophisticated. You can definitely sport this look to nights out and casual evening events!

Cream shoes to balance out the darkness happening with the outfit.

UNIQLO top, pants, and blazer, Sebago boat shoes, OXYGEN belt, Oxygen Paris watch.

What do you think of this outfit? :)

  1. Really you have a taste in dressing-up yourself to any occasions. Wearing blazer over round-neck shirt is amazing.

  2. Great get-up! I can really feel a professional vibe out of it, while still having a trendy and casual side. :) And amen! Blazer on tees, tanks, dress, or basically anything, can up the feel of any outfit! I don't think I've checked out women's blazers at Uniqlo, but I'll definitely do so on my next trip to the mall! :D

  7. I love how you effortless you appear in the casual chic outfit and that watch! I always ask my husband to try this combination but in Singapore weather, wearing a blazer/jacket is just too warm. My hubby just wears polo tee and jeans, hahahah!!

  8. I never thought or even in mind that the kind of dress a person is wearing could make him look sophisticated. At least, I know and I could appreciate the way you carry yourself by the kind of dress or apparel you wear.

  14. I think you look more suave and relax in this outfit. The cream colored shoe just blend it and create some color contrast to the whole outfit.

  23. I have the same blazer! Only, in navy blue, and with a more feminine cut. Blazers really do the job of making a look more polished, perfect for your conference!
