In Sepia

Probably my moodiest outfit shoot yet! Inspired by the basic off-duty Korean look, I wanted to channel an outfit that once again celebrates understated style. I'm forever a believer that being classy is just as powerful as being flashy, Simple clothes in great fits and gorgeous shades are a no-brainer for me, and it's something I'd like to perfect as I get older. However, it isn't just about the fit and the color, but also the cut. I'm currently obsessed with UNIQLO's boat neck long sleeve tees. This neck cut gives off a very relaxed vibe and is also a lot less strain to the neck. Don't you just hate it when you feel like your own shirt is strangling you? And in this Manila heat, no, thank you. Finally, you can finish off the look with an intricate pair of leather sandals or pretty much anything you have - that's the beauty of a basic outfit.

UNIQLO boat neck long sleeve tee, TOP TEN cropped joggers, Zalora gladiator sandals, SM Accessories silver cuff.

  1. Boat neck tshirts do not look on me, so I will pass on that. But those pants I like. I actually bought pants that look just like this from Uniqlo when I was in Taipei and Osaka, as they are not yet available in local branches.

  2. I love classy looks at times. That outfit looks good. I also love that kind of footwear. That was the style that I chose for my father before.

  7. Jason, you should count the number of non-uniqlo clothing in your wardrobe, I'm sure you'll find less than 10! Lolz... Love this neutral color combo though!
