Villa Excellance | To Formal Sendoffs & More Celebrations

I've never been much for the beach, but that's definitely not to say I don't enjoy a visit every now and then! The past three months in college have been insane, to say the least; I've never experienced joy, stress, rage and a whole range of emotions within such a span of time in my life, and it's something I wouldn't recommend to anyone. Haha! However, now that those days are officially over, I finally got to just relax and not care about schoolwork for a while with my class. One of my blockmates was so movingly generous to accommodate almost 40 of us to a resort that his family owned in Cavite - Villa Excellance. Cannot say enough good things about the guy and I also can't find any way to express my gratitude other than trying to spread the word in my own little way through this blog!

Now that you're caught up with the summary of my school drama, read on to see Villa Excellance!

We arrived late in the afternoon, which, by the way, is the perfect time to swim at the beach! So chill and no intense heat at all!

We stayed at the guest homes, which can accommodate a ton of people. Fully-airconditioned and really clean, which are the most important things for me. LOL #AirConIsLife

I didn't take photos of the inside anymore as it was a crazy mess because of everyone's stuff lying around. I think there were roughly 15 of us in one unit, but the place is perfect for families of 6 to 10. Pretty awesome at less than 10k!

My blockmates, Pabs and Pash doing my signature "blogger pose" before we hit the beach. Haha! This has apparently become a thing in my class. :)

Now, the beach! I didn't know what to expect because I've never been to a beach in Cavite before, but it's pretty similar to most Batangas beaches with the gray sand and lots of crushed seashells. There's the occasional cigarette left by other patrons but the place is generally well-maintained.

There are a variety of huts and sheds you can rent at Villa Excellance for reasonable prices.

Their newest highlight is the Wave Pool and it's a lot of fun! Basically, machines underwater create big waves that bounce you around. Being around my blockmates made it about a hundred times more fun, though. Haha!

Single guesthouses for smaller crowds.

Ending this post with a view of the pastel blue horizon! My whole stay was a mix of a little swimming, a lot of drinking, even more karaoke, very little sleep, and I am endlessly grateful for the experience. :)

Villa Excellance is located at Barangay Sahud Ulan, Tanza, Cavite.

  20. The place is gorgeous! It's been a long time since I've been to a resort. It has always been going to business hotels rather than resorts. Now, you got me wanting to go...
