So this post is a little special compared to others. Sadly though, the photos didn’t turn out as great as I had hoped. You see, this was actually supposed to be my anniversary post, but as you guys are about to notice, the one I posted to celebrate my blog’s birthday was miles better than this one. LOL
So let’s get on to it, shall we?
I decided to wear the first thing I ever asked my dad to buy because I genuinely liked it, and it’s basically what sparked my affinity to shop as well as my addiction to clothes. The place where it all started comes in the form of my top!
As you can see, even from before I already preferred my clothes plain and simple. And what completely sold me was the cut on the neck. Something about it appealed so much to me and I remember I was only in the 5th grade at the time. Haha! There was even a time when I literally annoyed my dad into getting the same style but just in different detailing! Yep, I was pretty obsessed. :D
I wanted to keep my look classy and simple which is why I just threw on my favorite Casio watch!
And boat shoes to complete my simple look!
Giordano top and pants, Penshoppe cardigan, Coupeau Valentino shoes, Casio watch. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)
I’ve come to realize how much I’ve learned over the years. Because whenever I think about my past outfits, (Especially in my extreme “cardigan” phase. LOL) I can’t help but cringe a little, thinking, “I can’t believe I wore that combination.”
My main taste hasn’t changed because I still love me some classic plain clothing and I rarely wear prints unless they come in stripes. I guess what’s really grown is my imagination when it comes to unfamiliar styles and concepts. I particularly enjoy learning new tricks from blogs I religiously follow, and it’s definitely opened my eyes, as well as my mind to new things! :)
'TIl next time! Happy Sunday, guys!
