Traveling to cold places gives me a great excuse to finally break out the cool clothes I've always wanted to wear but can't because of the weather here in the Philippines. On my last trip to Hanoi, I was so overjoyed to finally wear this Cotton On faux leather jacket that I got on sale so long ago. I know that it's unpractical but I just couldn't say no to 50% off deal! From almost 4000 bucks, I only got it from less than 1700. Great deal is great. :)
I'm not really sure why Blogger uploaded my full body pic with this weird tinge of red and it makes my portrait photos look like it was shot during the Golden Hour. LOL Thanks for the dramatic effect, Blogger. Haha!
When I was dreaming about what kind of leather jacket I'd own, I never really leaned towards the "badass" kind which is ironic considering it's a leather jacket LOL. I wanted to make sure that if I got one, it'd stay true to how I dressed and my personal style. If there's one thing I don't like, it's when I can't seem to "carry" the look. It happens when, despite how awesome something looks, there's just something about it that doesn't fit with you as a person. When I found a design with a faux leather hood, I knew it would be perfect! There's something about hoods that give clothes a more youthful and playful vibe, and a little less "punk." (Or is that just me?)
When I tried it on, it didn't feel like I was trying to be someone I wasn't and it looked and felt great, so it wasn't even a contest. Haha!
I'm so sad I didn't see this Bench watch a little earlier on because it is just so nice! I love that it looks like a fancy watch but the colored stainless steel material makes it so young and casual and relaxed. I wish I could get it in dark green too! I got it during the Privado sale at SM a few months back for a good 20% off! It usually costs 2100 bucks, if I'm not mistaken.
Cotton On jacket, Uniqlo shirt, Giordano pants, Call It Spring boots, Bench watch, From Thailand bag. (Hype this look on lookbook here.)
Hoping I can post regularly soon! This week has been crazier than the last and things are starting to overlap in school. Maybe it's the busy life of an architecture student that people have been going on about, I'm not really certain. Wish me luck and happy Sunday! :)

ReplyDeleteLOVE your (faux :p) leather jacket! I agree with you about impracticality (weather in Indonesia's pretty much the carbon copy of the Philippines, i believe) but when i see something cute (and impractical) at a bargain price... I can never give it a miss, it actually gives me more excuse to plan a trip to colder countries, teehee! Oh, did i ever mention how much i love Cotton On? Ha!
