I’ve been saving this top for a relatively special outing and since the heat in Manila clearly isn’t going away despite the rainy season’s return, I can only wear this to places like Tagaytay and even then, it was still a bit hot, which is why this post has a part 2 coming up but probably not in the near future to avoid monotony but we’ll get to that much later.
I fell in love with this unique piece from Folded and Hung as soon as I saw it on display. Because of bloggers like Tricia Gosingtian and David Guison, I find myself obsessed with mixed media/material clothing. I think it’s just so smart to break a certain uniformity with such a creative twist, don’t you agree? (Please agree with me, haha!)
The black panelling looks like leather but it’s actually the same material used in most generic jogging pants. It adds the teensiest shimmer that makes the outfit more interesting, as well as a sporty vibe!
If you’ll notice, I kept the rest of my outfit simple to keep from stealing the show from my top. LOL I find it so so awesome! For the sake of adding a bit of color to be less boring, blue pants to keep it alive. What do you think?
Folded And Hung top, Oxygen pants, Casio watch, Coupeau Valentino sneakers. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)
Now that the first week of college is done, I’m a bit nervous about the projects to come; more so because I have a blog to keep alive. I guess it’s become more of a hobby and also a creative outlet and I’m forever thankful to those who follow my little adventures in life. From what I hear, the first year is pretty much no trouble at all, and I’m going to stick with this kind of optimism. I’m going to need it, I think.
To my blockmates who may be reading this, HI! This is another side to me that you may or may not have expected, either way, hope this doesn’t make me any weirder. Haha! :)
