After our long trip from Ha Long Bay, our tour leader booked us in the Intercontinental, which, according to our guide, was the fanciest hotel in Hanoi! So you could only imagine how excited I was to crash at a five-star hotel! I don't get these many chances, you see. LOL
The moment we arrived, I went to bed almost immediately since I was so tired from Ha Long Bay. The next morning was a different story though, because I got to fully see how pretty the Intercontinental of Hanoi was!
The majestic front entrance which hides the amazing set-up they have inside.
Past the lobby is their own unique version of hotel rooms, but first you pass by their beautiful pool area. You'd be crazy to swim in that weather though. I bet the water would be beyond frigid!
Hotel rooms in the Intercontinental are like these beautiful floating villas!
The hardest part of checking in is sometimes they neglect to help you with your bags and you have to lug it through these extremely long passageways to your villa/hotel room. The view's gorgeous though!
The food has got to be the main attraction, because I haven't had a breakfast this great in a while, and we all know how amazing hotel breakfasts can be! :D
They even had a special juice section to jumpstart your day! I chose the one in the middle because it had Kiwi and Broccoli and all sorts of yummy fruits!
They also have an Asian section where you can enjoy treats from Roti to Wanton noodles!
My first plate. It was so hard to decide on what to get first! Not getting overstuffed is key when eating in buffets. And you want to make sure you get the good stuff. LOL
Only one more post til my current travel posts come to a close! Stay tuned! :)
That green juice looks yummy! And haha, hotel breakfasts are sometimes more like dinners! Looks like you really enjoyed your stay there! :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots! The place is as beautiful as the photos. Good job!
ReplyDeleteWow! that was breath taking five star hotel.! The facade of the hotel summarizes its cost. I can't afford to check in in that wonderful hotel at this time. Hope soon i can. Like their concept of the floating hotel rooms.
ReplyDeleteVietnam is in my checklist of countries to visit in Asia. I agree with the last tip you gave about eating in a buffet... Some people are aesthetically overwhelmed that they often end up getting more than what they can, normally, consume.

The hotel really looks expensive. It's best to stay in that kind of hotel if you want to reward and pamper yourself.
ReplyDeleteNapaka-cozy ng room. O am so sure very expensive ang accomodation dyan.
ReplyDeleteA good place to stay with the family. it looks much better than Intercontinental in Makati.
