Changes

It feels like it's been ages since I've last posted a style post! Just a little more and I'll be enjoying a few weeks of rest because with architecture comes summer classes. In our case, you should be glad to have to take them because it means you've passed the cut-off. Kind of like singing reality shows. LOL

It's been a stressful week, but I'm proud to say that I haven't lost much sleep, still. And I'd like to think it's quite an achievement on my part. I think it's just all about time management with my course. If you do the things you have to do on time and you do it right, you won't really have to suffer sleepless nights! I'm actually thinking about posting a guide for incoming freshmen in the future! Would that be a good idea?

But before anything else, let's talk about my outfit! Sporty fashion is huge this season and in almost every store and blog I've been to has all these athletic-inspired clothes. One of my absolute favorites has got to be the sweatpants! I love how they fused the concept of dressy pants with the comfort of sweatpants like the ones I'm wearing here!

To show a little juxtaposition with dressy elements and casual sporty elements, I wore my joggers with this button-down from Oxygen's really really old collection. It's actually my dad's! This one was from long long ago when Oxygen still sported a different logo! It fit me like a charm and the details and the stitching are absolutely gorgeous, how could I not wear it?

Additional sporty elements with G-Shock! I've been wearing it a lot lately but I have to be careful to not wear it on days when I have to draw and paint a lot. Marumihan na lahat wag lang 'to! Haha!

It's crazy how much I love these jogger pants from River Island. I dropped by their store about a month ago and got these at 75% off! It was my first time there and my family got tons of stuff as well because everything on sale just became insanely cheap! It's material is like this treated denim that's made to look and almost feel like leather minus the worry of it chipping and fading over time. They start out a bit loose around my thighs and becomes skinny from the knee down which is suuuuper flattering! Such an amazing buy. Definitely going to be wearing this a lot in the future!

Continuing the leather feels with my favorite ALDO boots! I hope these never die. It's all sorts of perfect!

Oxygen button-down, River Island joggers, ALDO boots, G-Shock watch. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)

Looking back now, there's just too much that's happened this past school year. It's amazing how one year of college has affected everything about me. I know I am wiser, stronger, and hardened. Architecture does that to you, and it's not even an exaggeration. I'd like to think this was the point all along and I actually feel ready to see it through. If it turns out that I won't be with my block anymore next year, I will miss a lot of them sorely, especially the great friends I've acquired in the process. It's hard when you've gotten used to their presence, as unpleasant as some may be at times. I will miss everything about this past year. It's been one HELL of a ride and I can't imagine what's going to happen in the next 4 years.

There are a lot of things I didn't think I'd be doing by the end of the year; from the little things like painting to even the things I do everyday, mainly listening to K-Pop. I haven't been through a single day without listening to them at least a few hundred times. Right now, as I'm typing this, I'm actually listening to 2NE1's latest album! Personally, I don't understand the comparison between Girls' Generation and 2NE1. Their music is just so different; apples and oranges, if you ask me. Anyways, I love them both dearly, but my favorite has still got to be EXO! Haha!

But that's enough K-Pop ranting from me. LOL how has your year been? :)

  2. The G-Schock looks really cool and yes, it would be hard to add stains in the watch because of the white color.
