The Fox Says Hello

Ironically, on the day I had one of the most intense breakouts I've had in a while was the day I had one of the nicest shoots ever at Tagaytay. It's always great to take my outfit shots near our house because the village has so many nice spots to take them! This was taken at my favorite spot just outside our house! :)

It's been a while since I last sported a shirt-shorts-cardigan combo like this, and it's too predictable of me to do so, but this shirt I got from Artwork is just too cute to resist with this combination! Can't go wrong with cute preppy! :)

I'm not a fan of graphic prints but this little doodled fox was just too adorable when I saw it last Christmas when I was shopping for gifts. I got it for an incredible bargain too: 160php! (That's less than $4!) I paired it with this perfect green cardigan from the newly opened Terranova store at SM San Lazaro which is almost always on sale! So great that there's a Terranova incredibly near me now. :)

White sneaks were the obvious choice for this look. These bargain K-Swiss sneakers are way too perfect for my life.

Unexpectedly sporty details courtesy of G-Shock! I borrowed this from my brother because it just matched the red details of my outfit so well! Also, it's a relatively refreshing juxtaposition from the preppy elements present in the outfit! :)

Terranova cardigan, Artwork tee, G-Shock watch, K-Swiss sneakers. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)

I haven't had this much free time and it's an incredibly overwhelming feeling to not have to do anything for the next 8 days, but wait for the results of our finals. Unlike most colleges in UST, mine has a cut-off policy, and that means we need a certain GPA or else we wouldn't be admitted the following year. It's pretty nerve-wracking despite my decent grades. You just really can't be too sure nowadays. It's scary to think that I'm not going to be able to continue down this path just because I didn't do well enough in one subject, but there's not really anything I can do now, can't I? And I guess that's the scariest part of this waiting.

I'm trying to keep my mind off this terrible predicament, and I find myself trying my hand at painting, which I've never really been good at. There's just something about it that I can't seem to grasp and I honestly hope practice is going to get me out of this slump.

I need to get out of the house once in a while, too. It's my summer vacation, after all.

But anyway, what do you think of the fox? :)
