Here’s another easy style trick for lazy days: unconventional colors! There’s really nothing quite as comfortable as the basics, but there’s sometimes that tendency of it being a bit too boring. Don’t get me wrong, I love me some grays and browns just as much as the next guy, but it’s definitely good to have a change every now and then, even small ones like this! :)
The unconventional color can come from any part of your outfit, but it my case, it’s the shorts! (Okay, so maybe green isn’t so uncommon for shorts, but it’s definitely a color you don’t see a lot of people wear as bottoms. LOL)
This little change is really refreshing to the eye, in my opinion. Paired with a clean-cut button-down with tiny dots of greenish-gray that makes for a subtle pair with my shorts.
For a little more color, I used my favorite bag from Thailand. Even after having it for almost two years now, I still swoon every time I see it. Such a great buy!
Finished off the look with my crisp cream loafers. Nothing says relaxation more than slip-ons! :)
Penshoppe button-down, Uniqlo shorts, From Thailand bag, Westlink shoes. (Hype this look on lookbook here.)
I can’t tell you guys how comfortable I was that day. This outfit is definitely one for the books and easy choice for lazy days which makes me want to stock up on short-sleeved button-downs like this! Gaaaah, if only I had the money! LOL
'Til next time! :D
