Jet Black

Being in a uniform five days a week, lazy days are going to be inevitable. I’m pretty sure we’ve all had that feeling of not wanting to fuss over what to wear but at the same time, not wanting to look sloppy on your only day off, so here’s my little style trick on how to beat the “what to wear” woes! :)

The look I came up with is incredibly travel-friendly, and not to mention, incredibly comfortable! It’s casual enough to wear to the mall, but dressy enough to wear to non-formal events such as birthday parties and the like.

The trick is to find pieces that are crisp and fit you well. When going for a minimalistic look, it’s important that it flatters your body type the best for that effortless look. Black is always a very safe choice, and it gives anything an air of mystery and sleekness that I really love. (Let’s not forget the color’s ability to slim down the figure!)

For that subtle pop of color and pattern, I wore my uber sturdy Vans loafers to break the monotony of the outfit with its understated checkered pattern and yellow accents! Also, another easy style trick to achieve a more dapper look is to try rolling up your pants just a little to accentuate the shoes! :D

Giordano polo and pants, Vans shoes, Tomato Time watch, SM Accessories bracelet, Van Heusen belt. (Hype this look on lookbook here.)

What’s your lazy day outfit? :)
