Transitions

Something a little more colorful this time; and in a color I don’t wear much, no less! Today’s outfit post consists of very basic elements. Nothing too fancy and definitely NO layering. The summer heat is definitely not going anywhere but at least the rain makes the days just a teeny bit more bearable? I’m not really sure if that’s how I’ll feel come Monday. I’m finally becoming a Tomasino and I still find it all a bit unreal!

I wore this a month ago to celebrate my mom’s birthday. Since it wasn’t the actual day, we weren’t required to wear red, so I opted for another happy color: yellow! I don’t really like yellow and orange when it comes to my clothes, and I don’t really know why, but when I saw this top in Singapore last December, I knew I had to have it in my closet. So so perfect for summer, yeah? I didn’t buy it at the time though because I felt it was a bit pricey which is why I was elated to find out it was on sale for just 400 bucks on my last trip to Robinsons Place Ermita. (Cotton On has the best deals there. No joke!)

I love how it changes from a paper-y kind of yellow to gradually more vibrant shades. AND IT HAS POCKETS. Hahaha! I don’t know why, but I really appreciate the detail. :D

Shoes in a creamy shade to complement the happy vibes going on in my outfit. So glad I bought this in Xiamen! I used to have many regrets but now I treat it pretty much as a God-send. It’s sort of my instant go-to if I want to look more polished but still casual.

Whenever someone asks me if I’m excited for school I never really know what to answer except not being sure on what I feel about it at all. People are pretty much saying my life is going to be hell for 5 straight years as I take my journey to become an architect; so much that I’m already contemplating shifting before it even happens.

I realize though that I can’t be too quick to judge. I’m not even there yet, so I’m pretty much keeping my fingers crossed that it isn’t as hard as they say. Challenges are always good. They either make or break you, and it’s your choice whether or not you actually conquer them. Let’s hope I win mine. ;)
