Bloggers United 6

I think it’s high-time I’ve posted this entry. It’s been sitting in my queue for a few weeks now because I wasn’t sure when to post it. LOL

This week, instead of my usual food review (Sorry to the people who check this blog out for the food reviews. Regular programming resumes next week, I promise!), I’m covering the latest Bloggers United at SMX a few weeks ago! :D

I managed to convince my two friends to go early because I feared that we would be held up in long lines because, well, it’s freaking Bloggers United! For those of you who don’t know, Bloggers United is an event held biannually where all the top bloggers (Mostly for fashion) of the Philippines gather to rub elbows with their readers as well as sell some of their preloved stuff to those interested!

Anywho, we arrived before opening time and already, the line was impossibly long! The photo above was already the time we were halfway through. Just goes to show how influential these bloggers are! Luckily, my friends and I were picked up by the organizers since we had won free passes courtesy of online giveaways, and we were able to skip the line for the most part! :)

Within a few minutes of entering, it all became very surreal. Hundreds of readers swarmed the stalls; taking pictures with their idols as well as buying their stuff! You’d be shocked at how aggressive some were! Indeed, the power of a shopaholic is infinite when it comes to events like this! Haha!

There came a time it was almost impossible to go around! The stalls of the most popular bloggers had the most congestion, and everyone was clearly ready to strike.

Aside from the bloggers’ stalls, the event sponsors also had their own booths that sold a lot of their products. Brands like S&H, Pac Cosmetics, and Globe were there joining in on the craziness!

image

Of course, I wouldn’t have left this place without snapping pictures with my favorite bloggers! You’d be an idiot not to! LOLOLOL

I’m a bit sad though that most of my photos with them had bad lighting. It makes me wish I had brought my DSLR with me. It’s just so hard to commute with something as precious as that! Oh well, next Bloggers United, maybe.

Aaaand here are the photos! Excuse my awkward grin! I was just so happy! Just seeing them in person was almost unreal because I’m just so used to seeing them on the screen of my computer. Literally, it was all so overwhelming. (At least from a fan’s point of view.) Plus, they were all so nice and patient! So much admiration for these people!

From the top, in clockwise order: Dani Barretto, Paul Chuapoco, Kelly Medina, Aisa Ipac.

From The Top, In Clockwise Order: David Guison, Kryz Uy, Gerd Perez, Hezron Peralta, Lissa Kahayon.

Even though Gerd Perez and Hezron Peralta didn’t have booths in the event, my friends and I were lucky enough to bump into them at the main mall because they were about to have lunch at the time. It’s just too cool to finally meet these people. They’re all inspirations to me in their own unique way, so I can’t stress enough how happy I was that day. :)

But of course, it wouldn’t have been awesome without these two lovely ladies, Mariah and Maxine! I’m so incredibly grateful that I got to experience this with them. ‘Til next #BU, guys? Haha!
