Minimal

I’ve always been a big fan of doing minimalistic approaches in most of the things that I do, and that includes dressing up! The only problem with this, though, is that I’m rarely satisfied with simple outfits unless there’s something that separates it from the norm. Before, I had to add layers to make the outfit more interesting but at the expense of my personal comfort. Silly me, I know, but forgive me for not thinking of a better solution! LOL

The trick is always including something that makes the simple outfit very “you.” It should be the focal point of your get-up; something that anchors the impact. :)

I’m pretty sure you’ve already seen this combo a few hundred times in this blog, and I honestly can’t apologize for it because it’s just so fun to style! I don’t think I can pull this off when I get older so I’m pretty much taking every chance I can get. Haha!

As I’ve said in my recent Zamboanga travel post, I bought a conveniently-sized travel bag from my last trip and I’m so happy that I’m finally able to blog about it after all this time!

Out of all the mesmerizing prints, I settled with this little beauty, with the help of my little brother. (Seriously, it was so so hard to decide!) Its ethnic print adds a lot of character to my outfit and gives a subtle summery vibe that I can’t help but love. Now, that I think about it, I should’ve bought it in more colors! #FirstWorldProblems

I’d also like to note that I got my top for just 290php at Uniqlo and to this day I feel so proud of myself for this purchase because I’m not even joking at how soft and fluffy it is. If it’s even humanly possible to experience a clothe-gasm, this would definitely be it. It’s. Too. Comfy. Not. Even. Joking.

My favorite shoes as of the moment comes in the form of these plimsolls that I got at 50% off from Penshoppe! A month ago, I was already eyeing this pair whenever I’d visit the mall but once the price dropped to 400 bucks, I was sold. Ako nang dakilang bargain-hunter. Hahaha!

Uniqlo sweater, Giordano shorts, Penshoppe sneakers, From Zamboanga bag, Tomato Time watch. (Hype my look on lookbook here!)

I’m pretty much still in the process of adjusting to college life, and so far, I think it’s safe to say that I’m making a little progress in that department, but I absolutely hate commuting. It’s like picking a fight with the hot climate. Anyone know a good route to UST? :)

Anyways, what do you think? And also, a very big Happy Father’s Day to all the hardworking dads out there!
