Summer Wedding

Another one of my outfit backlogs! Haha! This is an outfit I wore when I attended a wedding last April, I think. I’m not really sure since it was so long ago.

Anywho, I’ve already posted a lot of “wedding party” looks here on my blog, and I’ve come to realize that they’ve almost always been in pastel shades as I’ve developed quite an affinity for them over the past year. (Because, seriously, what’s NOT to love about these delicious shades?)

Hailing from much inspiration from the blogosphere, I decided to go for darker and richer colors this time, including this year’s pantone: emerald!

Absolutely no layering was the day’s agenda, because it was the usual scorching-hot summer morning. Even to this day, I’m a bit surprised I made it through a non-airconditioned wedding ceremony in a long-sleeved button-down and fit black chinos!

Also, I’d like to note how happy I am to have finally shot at the wonderfully historic place that is Intramuros! It could almost pass for a little Spanish village, yeah? :)

Brought my favorite and ever-trusty SM Accessories bag with me because my parents requested that I bring my DSLR with me so I could snap photos of them as they walked down the aisle as the principal sponsors of the wedding.

Kept it cool with some classic aviators that I scored last summer in Xiamen! These are the babies that got me through the day I got lost during my study tour. You can read more about that here.

Kenneth Cole also makes an appearance today. It never fails to put an incredibly polished finish to my formal outfits. It’s pretty much never leaving my wardrobe. Like, ever. LOL

My latest acquisition from Pedro comes in the form of these quirky suede loafers! It’s rare that I immediately know I love something when I shop nowadays (Because I seriously like everything I see), but I swear, this was one of those gotta-have-it moments again. I mean, look at the little fringe!! Spazzing. It’s. Too. Perfect.

P.S. My blog’s birthday is coming soon! I’m finding it hard to believe that I’ve already been blogging for a year now, and I’m surprised at myself for never abandoning it, as I’ve never maintained a blog in the past as long as this one. Anyways, I’m hoping I can celebrate it right when the time comes.
