Summer Suit

Around the same time last year, I finally convinced myself to start this blog and that’s of course with the help of my good friend, Elise. (So sad she doesn’t post much anymore, but feel free to check her blog out!)

I’ve never really thought of myself as the consistent-blogger type but here I am doing just that! And to be honest, I’m quite surprised at myself, because I’ve always had this bad habit of never finishing most of what I start. I tell you, the list of my unfinished stories is higher than the Eiffel Tower. LOL.

Anywho, because of this blog, I’ve learned so much; to be honest, more than I could ever expect! I know I’m far from blogger-famous, but I feel so happy whenever people talk about what they just read on my blog and how they feel about it, so I can’t thank the people who read this blog ENOUGH for following my adventures, however shallow they may be. Haha!

For my anniversary post, I decided to post my favorite outfit so far IN MY ENTIRE LIFE. I’m not even joking! I feel like this is the best get-up I’ve come up with in my one year of blogging, as well as the best photos! My brother outdid himself with this shoot! I feel so proud for convincing him to be my assistant! LOLOLOL

Back to my outfit. One of the first things I ever blogged about was how much I adored clothes in pastel shades. I really can’t get enough of them! They’re so clean and crisp and something about them makes the wearer look so incredibly classy!

Also, I find it ironic as I’ve already mentioned several times in this blog how much I avoid wearing blazers as they fit in the most unflattering ways. THIS IS THE EXCEPTION. I’m beyond excited for this little find in Uniqlo. I think it’s so genius of them to come up with a cotton blazer that’s too perfect for every occasion, and one that fits smaller frames so freaking well! The best part: The material is so thin that you can wear it out on a fairly sunny day. Perfection. (If I had all the money in the world, I’d have bought it in ALL colors, I swear!)

Keeping it simple with a classy watch!

And cream loafers to complete my polished look!

Thinking about it now, this look reminds me so much of Asian fashion, in general. I’m pretty sure that’s where I got the idea from. Leave it to the Japanese and the Koreans, to think of the most unexpected but awesome combinations!

Uniqlo shirt, shorts, and blazer, Westlink loafers, Casio watch. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)

Thanks again, guys, for reading this blog over the past year. I hope you guys don’t ever stop! Happy Sunday! :)
