Every once in a while, I obligate myself to try something else. After all, it helps to be open to a lot of things especially today! Which is why for my outfit post today, I decided to put my usual pastel-y, prim-and-proper, preppy style in the backseat and tried my hand at a more laid-back and cool kid ensemble!
Oh yes, it’s my first outfit post to use headphones as part of my look!
Jacket from Penshoppe, Shirt from Uniqlo, Shorts from Giordano, Sneakers from Vans, Headphones from Cotton On, Watch from Singapore.
Say hello to skater Jason! (Yep, that’s what I call this style. Hahaha!) No button-downs, no colored chinos; just someone who grabs whatever from the closet. Because of the stuff happening at school, I’m finding it harder and harder to plan out my outfits like I did in the past, so I decided to hone my skills at laid-back dressing. The challenge is to focus on comfort while making sure your outfit stays very cohesive and fashionable. What do you think?
Of course, never forget to inject your personality into it! In my case, instead of a stuffy varsity jacket, I used one of my favorite knit jackets to date from Penshoppe! The design is so me, at the same time, perfect for outfits like this.
Added my cute Lego watch to add to the fun vibe!
If I were to be honest, this look was very much inspired from these black beauties! They were actually a birthday gift to me from my best friends, and it’s definitely my first time to own such a thing because I’ve always been an earphones person. LOL Still though, I love love love everything about it! Not to mention, it’s one of the few headphones that actually fit my weird head!
What with all the hype about Taylor Swift’s Red Keds campaign going on, I can’t help but remember her when I wear my red Vans plimsolls. LOL it just so happened to match my shirt OK? Hahaha!
Ending this post with my favorite shot! Anyways, ‘til next time!
Hype this look on lookbook here.
