The year’s about to end in less than a month! Can you believe it? I certainly can’t! It seems like only yesterday that I started my senior year at high school and now I’m only five months away from starting college! Anyways, I’ll be saving my dramatic words for my next post. LOL
Today’s outfit post came in the form of a reinvention! I’ve never ever thought that one could actually repeat an entire outfit and completely alter it just by removing one piece from it, and replacing it with another! So let’s get on to it, shall we?
Top from H&M, Watch from Caite (Xiamen), Pants from Onesimus, Shoes from Coupeau Valentino (Taiwan), Belt from Penshoppe, Manvelope from Salvatore Mann (SM Department Store).
If you’ve been following my blog from the start, then you might recognize this entire outfit in my very first outfit post! (It’s still all the way back in my old Wordpress site!) I pretty much had this idea on the fly, and it bizarrely came to me far too naturally. It was like I already knew what I was going to do the minute I thought of reinventing it. Haha!
I knew that this time, I wanted to polish it, refine it, so the answer to that? Tuck my shirt in for a more sophisticated vibe, and of course, to show off my lovely multi-neutral belt from Penshoppe!
Simple arm party of brown, white, and blue to add a summery vibe to my light outfit. Though I wanted to look sophisticated, I wanted to make sure to keep it casual and relatable.
What’s a dapper outfit without this awesome Manvelope from Salvatore Mann? Still can’t get over how its simplicity actually makes it so amazing!
I actually wore this to a wedding reception of a distant relative of mine. It was actually one of the reasons why I wanted to go for a lighter touch, especially since there’s so many Chinese superstitions to follow when it comes to events like these!
Who says you can’t repeat outfits? With a little change here and there, it’ll be good as new! Never be afraid to experiment! Happy Sunday!
Hype this look on lookbook here!
