Dappered

Last Saturday, I was finally able to go get myself an envelope by Salvatore Mann that I’ve been eyeing for the longest time! Ever since I saw Adam Gallagher rock it in a lot of his posts, I couldn’t stop scouring malls to find the perfect one; not too large, not too small. Unfortunately, the overly-insecure part of me was shying away from it because though the fashion scene in the Philippines is advancing at a particularly speedy rate, I wasn’t sure if using something as adapted to women’s fashion as the “manvelope” would be a good idea. The end? I bought it anyway!

I was so glad I went for it because on the same day, I had a birthday party to attend in the evening so its sophistication was very much needed to my otherwise casual get-up.

I got the idea to wear a cream/light brown shirt to pair with red pants from Folded & Hung’s latest lookbook. I just happened to pass by it as I was scanning my Facebook news feed. Talk about luck! LOL

And here’s the manvelope (As Adam Gallagher would put it.) in all its glory! It can actually be turned into a messenger bag or even a briefcase! I just hid the small handles inside to transform it. Pretty neat, if I do say so myself!

Lastly, these awesome shoes by Pedro! I fell in love with it as soon as I saw it at Paseo a few months back. I love how the white sole livens it up and gives it a more modern spin as opposed to all-brown or all-black. The only downside though is I can’t use it as a substitute for my drab school shoes! Hahahaha
