I’m so excited to show you guys the next few entries of my series!! Why? Because my sister photographed them with her awesome SLR! It’s always so much easier to work with her because she definitely knows what she’s doing. If you don’t believe me, you should definitely check her food blog out!
Anyways, here’s the second leg of my Tomato Time series!
Cardigan from Forever 21 Men, Shirt from Giordano, Pants from Zara Man, Shoes from Tretorn, Watch from Tomato Time.
If there’s something I aimed for in this outfit, it was definitely comfort. This look reminded me why I prefer loose clothes rather than fitted ones. It’s just so much easier to breathe! I guess the only exception to this rule of mine would definitely have to be the pants I wear. Since I have particularly short legs, I prefer wearing fitted trousers to create the illusion of elongating them, but make no mistake, I make sure they’re the most comfortable I can get. Like this awesome-beyond-words pair from Zara! I love how it adapts to my movements, at the same time keeping its solid hug on my lower limbs!
Strap color of the day: Ochre and white to match my shirt and my pants! I included my favorite silver bracelet to add a little more dressiness to it. (Don’t know if it worked, though! LOL)
This tiny little “V” on the neck of my shirt is probably one of the reasons why I fell in love with Giordano in the first place years ago. I don’t know why, but there’s something about this little detail that draws me to Giordano’s comfortable tops. Maybe it’s because it reminds me of the shirts that warriors wear in the old games I used to play on the Playstation 2 or the animes I’ve watched in my childhood! (Yes, I’m a self-confessed gamer and former Otaku. Haha!)
The tiny colorful detail on the “V” made all the difference, because without it, the shirt would’ve become too ordinary! It really is the little details that make the difference, after all!
It’s still a shock to me as to why no one’s copied Tretorn’s trademark “X” yet, but I’m really glad no one did! I mean, it’s the most awesome design I’ve seen on a pair of sneakers. SERIOUSLY. Too awesome, Tretorn, too awesome.
So that’s my day 2 entry! Hype this look on lookbook here!
