Off To Subic

Last saturday, our batch finally had its annual field trip to the very lovely but also very faraway place that is Subic. I didn’t really know what to expect other than an incredibly long bus ride, so I was always jumpy because I kept expecting something, good or bad, would happen. Vague, I know, but it is what is! LOL

One of two stops was the famous Ocean Adventure! Thank God for my iPod Touch coming in the mail a few weeks ago that I was able to snap quick photos as I went along with the trip.

And of course, I couldn’t resist but camwhore a little! Hahahaha

And here’s a few shots with a few of my favorite people in the world!

On the top right is fellow style blogger, Elise, next is the amazing resident artist here at tumblr, Maxine. Left to right on the bottom is my friends, Mariah, Michael, and Raelene.

Random picture, forgive me. LOL

First show we saw was this guy (I can’t remember his name, sadly.) who taught us these humorous but useful survival skills. He mainly emphasized on the power of bamboo to cook food, become eating utensils, and even make fire.

Next, we saw Sea Lions!! They were so so so adorable! I don’t care how many times I watch shows like these, it’s always cool to see a smart animal in action!

A balancing act by five extremely energetic African gymnasts followed, and I can’t say they lost to the sea lions. In a matter of minutes, they had the crowd going crazy with either their dance moves or their amazing tricks!

Last was the dolphins! This was by far the show that made my day. Dolphins are right up there in my list of favorite animals. One of my dreams is to swim with them and touch their slippery head! LOL

And of course, I couldn’t leave the lovely beach that came with Ocean Adventure without going crazy with my iTouch cam!

This was definitely a day to remember. And with this photo, I end my photo diary for now. Hope you liked this experimental post of sorts!

Tell me what you think, won’t you?
