4 Days of Xiamen: Day 2

In the two months I toured, there were just bound to be days when I really wasn’t in any mood to think or worry about what I was going to wear, but I could never ever shake the feeling or need to dress up. I’m the type of person that’s never contented with just jeans and a shirt and a pair of sneakers. It just isn’t… me. (If that makes any sense. LOL)

That’s why this became one of my favorite looks to do during the tour. Actually, any tour, to be honest. It’s so comfortable and so very fuss-free, and unlike my previous look, it’s the total opposite!

Shirt from Polo (Ralph Lauren), Cardigan from Chemistry, Jeans from Meters/Bonwe (Xiamen), Shoes from Coupeau Valentino.

I’ve always loved gray (As you can see in a LOT of my photos.), but there are a lot of times when this incredibly versatile color just doesn’t deliver that “umph” you want your outfits to exude, so I decided to pair it with my favorite color: red.

Putting on my lovely cardigan from Chemistry not only completed the look, but it gave it a totally new dimension, and the thin stripes broke the monotony of the plain pieces of the outfit and made it more preppy but refined.

Can I just say I do not know what I’m doing here? Hahahaha parang monkey dance na ewan.

It makes me very very happy to see a balanced outfit. Being able to make something dull to something great - to me, that’s magic.

What do you think? I personally believe anyone can pull this off if they wanted to. Stay tuned for the next day of the series!
