4 Days of Xiamen: Day 3

This is probably my laziest no-fail outfit yet! In the days that I really REALLY had no idea what I was going to wear, this was my cheat outfit, I guess.

All of this is thanks to this amazing sweater/pullover from Esprit that I got in one of my many many shopping sprees in Xiamen. It was mostly an impulse buy but I’m glad I went with my gut on this one, because it’s saved me the trouble of choosing outfits on more than one occasion. Let’s not forget how comfortable it is, and as well as the fit that’s to-die-for! I loved how slimming it was, at the same time not constricting at all! Can you believe I got it for an equivalent of 1400php?! For Esprit, that is one heck of a steal!

Pullover from Esprit (Xiamen), Jeans from Ego Jeans (SM Department Store), Plimsolls from Vans.

A lot of this outfit’s inspiration hails from the grunge feel of British fashion. It’s simple but it shows much mystery and kind of leads you to want for more. (At least, that’s how I see it.) But instead of classy Sherlock Holmes oxfords, I gave it a more youthful vibe by  wearing plimsolls!

From afar, the littler details of the hoodie are so understated! I fell in love with the blue piping as soon as I laid my eyes on it, and the polished wooden buttons were just icing on the cake! Intricately carved with Esprit’s signature logo, the buttons become one of the highlights of this classic piece.

To break the monotony of my duller outfits, I almost always use these bad boys to implement my “shot of color” theory. A lot of the attention is thrown to it because of its vigorous red color, and I can’t say I’m surprised. Other than Converse, Vans will always be one of my favorite brands when it comes to shoes!

And that concludes my lazy day outfit! Hope you love it as much as I do! LOL Anyways, be ready for the last day of my Xiamen series!
