Happy Halloween, guys! Today, in honor of the ghoulish holiday, I decided to post one of my more dramatic looks, mainly because I couldn’t bring myself to do an all-out supernatural-inspired outfit. LOL
For the setting, I chose to this old Chinese library since it was the creepiest when the lights were turned off, hence the shadowy parts! Anyways, let’s get on to the look!
Top and Trousers from Zara, Boat Shoes from GBX.
I’ve been wanting to use this awesome pullover I got at Zara from the End of the Season Sale in SM Mall of Asia for the longest time, but I’ve never found the right time (Or clothes.) to use it with. All I know is that I loved it the minute I saw it! People should definitely invest in more unique pieces as opposed to overused staples. It’s good to stand out once in a while and find your own identity. It’s just such a waste if you can’t show yourself as just you. Dare to defy the norm! (Random deep quotations from me. Hahahaha)
Here’s a closer look at my pullover from Zara. The entirety of the neck can actually be closed by two zippers on each end; shoulder to shoulder, and when you open it, the neck isn’t exactly crew nor is it a V. Personally, I think it’s like an eye, which makes it all the more cooler, let’s not forget dramatic!
Plus, the fabric is amaaaazing. I love how it’s thin and fitted but still flowy and does not show impressions of my chest. It’s perfect as outerwear but also an adequate top! Zara, why you so perfect? LOL
At first, I intended to wear all black for the Halloween overkill, but then I thought, that just isn’t my style, so I kept it casual with this wonderful pair of mustard jeans also from Zara, finishing the look with these classy leather boat shoes from GBX.
OK, so it’s not as Halloween-y as I’d like for it to be. Can you believe a teeny bit of the inspiration comes from Frankenstein and Dracula? Hahaha humor me, please! Anyways, have a good one, guys!
