The first semester of my fourth year in architecture school is finally over and I'm absolutely over the moon that I get to work more on my blog and go back to gaming as well! Once again, I got the opportunity to work with a lovely online dress shop - this time with Sposa Dress!
Sposa Dress is yet another one-stop shop where you can pretty much find all your formal dress needs, however for today's post, it's all going to be about their elegant bridal gowns on sale!
Just some of my favorites from the bridal gown collection! If there's anything I noticed, it's that their designs lean towards simpler and more classic aesthetics which is perfect for all those looking for wedding dresses that aren't too fussy and where the classy and simple design is a statement in itself.
As usual with my fashion-related posts, I did just a quick little sketch of wedding dresses that were inspired by what I saw at Sposa Dress. Since they can be quite simple for my taste, I designed ones with simple bases but is then more elaborated with layers and textures. The concept for this sketch is "In Bloom" as the dresses were designed to resemble flowers being gently blown by the wind. It's almost therapeutic to focus on something other than architecture. I feel like my mind is still a bit traumatized from all the crippling mounds of work I had to deal with this semester - added to your usual school drama. Anyway, I am absolutely ecstatic about this upcoming month of rest, and I am doubly excited to play Final Fantasy XV! I can't believe it's finally out!
But enough about that, you should go on ahead and check out Sposa Dress! :)
Disclaimer: The dresses I sketched are not to be made into dresses for Sposa Dress. They are just inspired sketches to add to the article.

Such diverse art interests. The strength and rigidity of architecture and the fluidity and softness of fashion. You do very well in both. A true artist.
ReplyDeleteI love the gownnin ur 2nd drawing. If u plan to make it, count me in as ur first customer..
ReplyDeleteI prefer the second dress. It's not plain but it's not over the top either. The fact that it hugs the body with something that flows on top of it will complement any women's body type.
ReplyDeleteYou'll make a really good designer. You really know how to add flair to the dress.
ReplyDeleteThey are gorgeous dresses/gowns that will make any bride feel like a princess. I love them all. :)
ReplyDeleteThe main page's gown did catch my attention, so did your drawing on the right! It's very unique, especially the colour combination~
ReplyDeleteNiceee...White wedding is something that looks like fairy tale for any girl. Your sketches are so good!
ReplyDeleteI just think that gowns in general are beautiful because they are pure embodiment of my childhood fairy fantasy. Your sketches by the way look great, shouldn't you go for a career in the fashion industry?
