Straightforward

Wore this on yet another Sunday out with family. It was one of those days when I had to wear a pair of pants just because I felt guilty that I'd only worn it for about two hours and it would be such a waste to have it washed. #PaysToBePractical Anyway, I wore it again and decided to go for an updated basics look; the classic white shirt and jeans combo brought up to a more contemporary tone. Read on to see more details!

This is an outfit that's so perfect for lazy days when you can't bring yourself to go fasyown when you go out. Clean, well-made basics are a no-fail plan.

Finally got to shop at Straightforward!! I've always wanted to get a pair of their shorts - well actually, one of everything cos *basics* but never got around to it because of my concerns about sizing. Thankfully, they're now open at UP Town Center, also around the time they released their sweatshirt tees which are *totally* right up my alley. Got the cream/off-white one because it's a color I don't really have a lot of. (Will probably get the grey and blue in the future though. Haha!)

Like the brand says, it's pretty straightforward. A short-sleeved version of a sweatshirt with relatively thin lining so it makes a perfect shirt to wear in Manila as well as a shirt you can wear underneath a heavy coat if you're abroad. So much to love about these tees!

Instead of grabbing for a pair of crisp white shoes, why not these brown leather high-cut sneakers? Really can't get over this boot-sneaker hybrid.

Straightforward sweatshirt, H&M jeans, ZALORA boots, SM Accessories silver cuffs.

What do you think? :D

  1. I like it when my husband dresses this way. I'm not too much of a fan of buttoned down polos or long sleeves unless we're going to a semi-formal or 'posh' place. Otherwise, I'd keep it simple and straightforward like your ensemble.
