Whenever there’s a social gathering, it’s hard not to dress up even just a little. And since it’s technically a bad thing to wear black to any happy occasion, I decided to go for a more happy theme, and what could have been happier than candy colors? :)
Shirt from Penshoppe, Pants from Giordano, Shoes from SM Department Store (Old), Bag from Singapore, Watch from Casio, Bracelets from SM Accessories, Belt from Oxygen.
With the sun practically beating down on us these days, short-sleeved button-downs are the best choices if you’re opting for something a bit dressier but not too formal. I love that this top comes in this lovely green pinstripe pattern and simple checkers when you fold the sleeves up! For added information, people say that wearing tops in vertical and incredibly thin stripes actually make the wearer seem taller! That’s a definite plus for small guys like me. Haha!
Since the trip required me to commute, I didn’t want to risk losing my things by using a large bag. Bags like this are the best way to go because they’re so much easier to handle.
I actually remember buying these when I was in the 4th or 5th grade. I decided to take them out for a spin again when I realized how much it matched my top, instead of my gray boat shoes which was too much of an obvious choice. Anyways, aren’t these so cute? I can’t believe I haven’t worn them in almost 2 years!
And that’s pretty much it for my look today. What do you think?
Hype this look on lookbook here.
