I’m slowly dropping back into shorts as summer is fast approaching. Pretty soon, it’s going to be too hot to wear jeans, unless you’re going to air-conditioned places like malls. Anyways, this outfit was taken a few weeks back. Around Chinese New Year, actually. Hence, the red top! LOL I actually hadn’t planned on this outfit until my mom brought this shirt to the temple and had it “blessed” making it obligatory for me to wear it the moment she brought it home. Hahaha! Oh, tradition.
Shirt and Shorts from Bench, Shoes from Westlink, Bag from Zinc, Watch from Tomato Time, Bracelet from SM Accessories.
The outfit itself is pretty basic so there’s not much to say, but I would just love to note how ideal this is for traveling, now that I think about it! I could totally picture myself in this outfit in places like Thailand and Vietnam, or even Spain! (One day, Jason, one day. LOL)
The red and cream strap on my watch couldn’t have been more perfect to go with this entire get-up! Never once have I regretted making this smart purchase at Tomato. With its different straps, it can practically go with anything!
My one and only cream suede loafers to complement the cream and red motif.
It really pays to invest in clothes like these. They’re both comfortable and stylish, and I’m constantly reminded that though it’s usually better to find unique and fashionable clothes, we can never really neglect the good ol’ reliable basics.
'Til next time! Hype this look on lookbook here.
