aBack from a country with much old-world charm, our senses are given a total 360 when we finally arrive at Singapore once again! Being from the Philippines, I’m constantly refreshed by Singapore’s amazing city. It’s clean, it’s traffic-free, and it’s just so freaking nice! I mean, I love Manila, but this is just a whole new world. No exaggeration.
Our first stop was the Singapore Flyer. Afraid of heights? Beware! LOL This is probably the most enormous Ferris wheel I’ve ever laid my eyes on. From it, you’re able to see the Singapore cityscape which you’ll see in the photos below!
On the right is Botanical Gardens which we sadly did not get to see. I’ve only had the pleasure of looking at the photos from Tricia Gosingtian’s blog, which by the way, are pretty amazing! Next time, Jason, next time. Haha!
The side view of Marina Bay Sands, as well as the Marina Bay Shoppes which house the most luxurious stores I’ve ever seen in my lifetime! LOL
After we got off the Flyer, we proceeded to a little park by the bay where you could see yet another few fantastic views, as well as an enormous Merlion statue!
On the right is the front of Marina Bay Sands! The architecture is just amazing!
We then continued to Singapore’s very own Chinatown, where it’s a great place to buy souvenirs, according to our guide.
Our last stop for that day: Marina Bay Sands! The interiors where beyond what I had expected and practically screamed, luxury! If I were rich, I’d stay here every time I visited Singapore! LOL
If you went outside to the dock area, you’d see this huge Louis Vuitton store! It actually has its own little island just for the store! Even though you’re not going to buy anything, it’s definitely something to check out!
We spend the night at what definitely was my very favorite hotel in our entire trip, the Hotel Royal Queens! On the right is the view from our window at 7am! I love that Singapore and Malaysia have such late sunsets and sunrises! There’s just something so peaceful about them!
The very next day, we decided to pray first at a nearby temple then went on to check out Singapore’s national library! Just look at how many stories it has! Amazing.
The library was unbelievably gorgeous in every aspect of the word! Now, this is a must-see for every book lover in the world!
And so that concludes my Singapore city travel post! Coming up, Sentosa, Universal Studios, as well as outfit posts! Watch out for those!
