Soft
Pullover from The Gap, Shorts from Bench, Boat Shoes from Coupeau Valentino (Taiwan).
I’ve been wanting to post this look for some time now but never got the chance to go to a decent place to shoot. I felt that an outfit like this deserves to be shot at the PERFECT spot. (Which sooo not the garden at my house! LOL)
So when my dad told us that were to go to Tagaytay that day, I jumped on the opportunity to shoot the look at some random sidewalk filled with trees and grass. And though the outfit kind of goes against my “Shot of Color” theory, I can’t help but fall in love with calm tones just working together and just so pleasing to the eyes!
I don’t know if you’ve noticed but my sleeves in the photos tend to change from unrolled to rolled. LOL That’s because I couldn’t decide which was better! Rolled down, it gave the outfit a nicer, more elegant flow, which makes me think of those movies where the actors relax on their luxury cruises or rest homes in their relaxed pastel-colored attires. But when rolled up, it gives the outfit a casual yet subtle ruggedness to it, and also reveals my bracelets! (As you can see in the image below.)
Because it’s taken from a distance, I’m not certain if you can see the silver bracelet, but I’m sure the tribal bracelet is quite visible. Like I said in my previous post here, my silver bracelet worked really well with the tribal bracelet despite the great contrast in color and material!
So that concludes my simple yet sophisticated look! Comment below and tell me what you think!
