Summer Days

Going out is almost impossible nowadays, and I've been definitely struggling with dressing up for a while now hence the incredibly obsolete style posts. My mind literally denies me the ability to think of what to wear because it begs me to just go grab the nearest loose t-shirt and shorts I can set my sights on. Jeans are almost off-limits. I can't wear them without sweating so much because of the thick fabric, that is until I discovered Uniqlo's legging jeans line.

I'm saying it again, THIS LINE IS A GOD-SEND. I'm not joking. Not even a little. I've raved a lot about them in the past but I can't stress enough how perfect they are for tropical climate where it's impossible to wear jeans and not feel a sauna in your pants. They feel incredibly lightweight and soft, not to mention, stretchy! For guys who're a bit skeptical about them, you have to try it for yourself to know why it has my sincerest recommendation. And it isn't the "leggings-leggings" that you're thinking of. These are just jeans that are incredibly comfortable and stretchy! You have to try it. You just have to. :)

Today's super casual outfit is just a striped tee, light wash jeans, and a pair of boat shoes! Super simple and super doable. Let's face it, only crazy people are going to layer in this heat, and I'm definitely not one of them.

The trick is to roll up your jeans to about a third of your calf and it gives the outfit an instantly polished look. Using light neutrals and pastels keeps the look cool and laid-back which is what I've been doing almost non-stop lately.

Saying no to tight t-shirts this month because the last thing I want is feeling all claustrophobic in this weather. Have you ever felt almost trapped in your own shirt because of the heat? No one wants that.

Nothing says relaxed like a pair of well-crafted leather boat shoes! Now that I've broken them in, I've been using them almost every time I go out! They just kind of go with everything, it's scary.

Minimal contrasting accessories is the way to go.
