Yet again, Blogger manages to put their weird sepia filter on my portrait photos! I don't understand why this keeps happening! Help. Someone. Please.
It makes me especially sad now because this is actually one of my favorite looks so far! For some reason, it reminds me of how princes dressed when they were little kids in movies. That aside, it fits into my usual aesthetic which is almost always clean-cut and a bit more on the refined side, and becoming a recent K-Pop fan has only made this style all the more strong! Haha!
Button-downs with shorts make for such a nice combination because it looks effortless without looking sloppy! Anyone can rock this look given the right fit! Remember: how a piece of clothing fits you is everything. *Everything*
For today's outfit, I decided to opt for a two-toned top to go with khaki shorts. Neutrals all the way to keep the look tame but still with contrasting colors. You can never go wrong with navy and brown! :)
Gave it a dressier vibe with a chunky silver watch. Whenever you want to look a bit more put-together in your simple clothes, compensate with accessories! It makes all the difference! :)
Brown sneakers to go with the navy-brown color scheme. And its subtle pattern makes so much cuter! Got these from Penshoppe at just 400 bucks! Lucky buy is lucky. :D
I've actually worn this button-down before here, but I wanted to give it the spotlight this time around because its glorious two-tone goodness needs to be appreciated! LOL
Jokes aside, I feel so lucky that I have this in my closet because the possibilities of styling it is just endless and the color combination is flawlessly matched. It's rare that I find a stark white top that I would actually like this much! I usually go for cream or off-white because it's just a lot safer and less eye-straining.
Giordano top, Uniqlo shorts, Penshoppe sneakers, Lacoste watch. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)
Would you try this look? Tell me what you think! :)
