We continued our tour by passing by this memorial for Ho Chi Minh. Unfortunately, it was closed that day so we proceeded to the Presidential Palace near it.
The presidential palace is this huge and gorgeous complex. This is only the main residence which is off-limits to tourists. You can only take pictures of it from the entrance.
There are a lot of these little areas that almost resemble villages. I've forgotten what they were for, sadly.
Displayed in that area are the cars Ho Chi Minh used to go places. Vintage car enthusiasts would go crazy.
All in all, it was nice, but there really wasn't anything too noteworthy in complex. We then moved onto another temple. I'm not really sure about its significance either, because we passed by very quickly and moved on.
The tour continued and instead of getting back on the bus we walked a little along the streets to get to the next location.
On the way there, everything was just perfect as we strolled by a lake that had this amazing view of the city! :)
We arrive at yet another temple. It really did get a bit boring around this time, but everything's just so pretty that it becomes okay.
Afterwards, we checked into the Mercure Hotel before dinner.
It was a lot smaller than in Ree Hotel at Siem Reap but it was nice nonetheless. Leaving this post with some #foodporn yet again! Haha!
