Pop Of Yellow

If you’ve been following this blog, then you know how much I rely on neutrals to save the day, and oftentimes my outfits follow this monochromatic scheme that, let’s face it, can get a little old. So in an effort to make a little change (Take note: Just a little! So don’t expect something dramatic. LOL), I’ve decided to practice injecting colors here in there in my outfits starting with today’s post!

Like I said, I’m slowly trying to ease into colors so I thought the best way to start is with my shoes! I love that the hint of yellow looks a bit unexpected but still puts the whole look together because of its gray color way. It’s the perfect addition to a very chill outfit on your days off! :)

3/4 tops are really big right now, especially with the weird weather that just can’t seem to decide between excruciatingly hot or relentlessly rainy. I love that Uniqlo came up with a top that can be worn on both weather settings because the sleeves are long enough to keep you from freezing in the rain, but the fabric is thin enough for sunny days out!

Another trick to vamp up a simple outfit is accessorizing! Choose watches that stand out to give your simple outfit a focal point.

And of course, my yellow-soled shoes! Milanos has this design in a variety of colors that I’m actually contemplating on getting another because of the cool combinations! Can’t wait to go back and shop with the remainder of my GCs, which I’ve surprisingly been using quite sparingly because I’m scared I might use it all up and miss out on newer designs! Haha!

Uniqlo top, Giordano pants, Milanos shoes, Kenneth Cole watch, SM Accessories cuff. (Hype this look on lookbook here!)
