One of the staples that will definitely never EVER go out of style is the classic pair of jeans! I’m pretty sure we’ve worn it at least a few thousand times in our life, and if you haven’t, seriously, what planet are you from?! LOL
Thinking about it now, it really baffles me how long I haven’t worn these comfortable and reliable beauties, and with all that time passed, I seem to have forgotten how to style it correctly! So to make it up to this timeless basic, I decided to incorporate it to today’s outfit post!
Cardigan from China, Shirt from Lacoste, Jeans from Giordano, Shoes from Coupeau Valentino.
Not being a just-t-shirt-and-jeans type of guy, I couldn’t find it in my conscience to dress as simply as that. My mind kind of goes into this state where its top priority is to add a little twist that makes it me, so I came up with this. Although the look bears not much flashy elements and the like, anyone who knows my personal style could most probably conclude that this outfit is very - me. (There’s not really a word that defines my style! Hahaha! The closest I could ever think of is “Erratically Preppy.” Does that make sense?)
Anyways, back to the little details… I love how the subtle little lines of my shirt match my cardigan. It’s these cute little details that I get the simplest joys from. You don’t have to flaunt it, but you have that little “I-know-what-you-did-there” moment with yourself, and you surprisingly feel good about it! Sorry for my weirdness, but this really occurs in my head. LOL
The little surprise that’s literally under my sleeve! Whenever I feel my outfit needs a touch of vintage sophistication, I can’t help but turn to my trusty Casio watch! I have to admit, I really felt much buyer’s remorse when I first got it. Looking at it now, though, not even a little bit! :)
The boat shoes really did it for me. I feel it added a little more playfulness to my very classic outfit; what with the shirt tucked in and all.
I know I said I’m going to be able to post more, but unfortunately (And fortunately, at the same time.) I’ve recently started working at my parents’ office lately, and I haven’t found the time to blog since I’m there ALL day, it’s crazy! Though I have a LOT of posts lined up, I still have to take the time to upload them and all those little things. Anyways, my point is: Please bear with me as I try to figure out an adjustment that works both ways! I’m so excited to post my future looks so stay tuned!
Hype this look on lookbook here.
