Hello never-before tried combination? On that incredibly hot Saturday afternoon, I decided to wear these amazing tailored shorts I got at Penshoppe a long, long time ago to a committee meeting held at school. It was mostly about our senior prom. (Which I’m sadly not going to be able to go to.)
Anyways, I couldn’t bear the thought of just a normal top and shorts! I can’t believe it caused such a fuss in my head seeing something so simple. That’s why this little get-up was created for experimental reasons. LOL

I’ve never really tried boots with shorts before, thinking it was too much of a female trend, but I couldn’t help but try it because I’ve been seeing so much of it in the blogosphere! Despite a few of my friends’ discouragement to do so back in my Xiamen study tour, it was the only thing that would amp my look to the degree that I wanted.
This shirt is actually my dad’s. Believe it or not, him, my little brother, and I are virtually the same size when it comes to clothes! Oh, you wouldn’t believe the wonders they have in their closets like this adorable violet polo! LOL
Of course, I couldn’t resist but match my top to the semi-violet/maroon laces on my boots. I also folded down the sides to keep it breezy. No way was I walking around with super high-cut shoes on a day like that! Hahahaha
I honestly don’t know what the heck I was doing here. Checking my shoe for dead insects, or gum, maybe? Humor me with the idea I’m trying to pose here! Haha!
